Internet marketing is one of the fastest-growing and profitable businesses today but it isn’t an overnight proposition; sometimes it could be weeks,or even months of marketing before your Web site becomes viable to a point where you are earning an income.
Advertising with print media production, radio, or television, advertising fees can be exorbitant. So, where customers used to pause for advertising, now find what they want through search engines, social media and yes, even banner ads. If done right marketing on the net is a very cost effective way to deliver targeted quality buyers or sign up’s for your product or services at little cost. Although if your not familiar with the net it could also burn a hole in your wallet such as using a Google Adwords Campaign.
Google AdWords is one of many types of pay per click advertising avenues. When using this source for traffic you must be aware of which keywords to use and how much it will cost you just for that one click. It could cost you any where from 10 cents on up to $50 or even more per one click. So you can see it is very important to do your due diligence before using this method of advertising. I will wright more about ppc advertising on another post so check back often.
When you are starting to build a business online and funds are limited there are many ways to get traffic without it dwindling your funds from your bank account such as the use of articles and is one of the best methods of getting back links. This method has proven to generate a lot of free traffic which is what we all want. Lots of Traffic with little to no cost. More on Free traffic later. Ya I know you want the goodies now right. I will be writing about free traffic soon.
This brings me to analyzing where my traffic is coming from so I know what is working and what is not. This brings me to Google analytics which is a free tool that Google offers. Just Kidding; I won’t charge a damn dime. Without tracking and testing, you won’t know what’s working in your Internet marketing campaigns and what’s not.
Conclusion:
Most people get caught up in all the hype and think if they sign up for a certain program that promises riches for doing next to nothing become very disappointed and loose a lot of money.
Internet marketing is an ongoing process and does require a lot of time and can be considered fun instead of work if you have the passion for it. If your heart is set on building a business on the net then go for it whole heatedly not just 20% 50% or 75%. You need to have a plan and go at it with 100% knowing you will not fail no matter what. Do it Wisely…….. Follow someone who has already made the mistakes. This will save you time, money and many headaches…. Until next time….

Hi Mark, This is my first visit to your site, I am making my slow way round all the other studen’s blogs. This is a good way to pick up lots of free advice, there seems to be something to absorb on every blog, they are all so good. I take on board what you say about it being a slow process. We are all anxious to make our way financially, especially now with all this economical doom and gloom, but it seems that you can’t hurry it. I put in all hours, don’t sleep much, but it still seems to be taking such a long while. However, I am not discouraged and intend sticking to it to the bitter end.
